Oceaneering provides Mobile Offshore Production Systems (MOPS) and subsea production facilities for field development projects worldwide. Responding first to our Customer's field development needs as a consultant advisor, Oceaneering uses its experience and sound engineering practice to identify the production system solution that best fits project requirements and objectives. This means cost-effective for the life cycle of the field, fit-for-purpose design, and in full compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards.

With the system identified, Oceaneering is ready to implement the solution as your project manager and production contractor, beginning with detailed engineering and procurement. If a MOPS has been selected, Oceaneering will manage the construction or conversion project, then install it in the field and provide full-service operations. Our project management methods are designed to meet our Customers' budget, schedule and quality objectives while adding value through the application of fast-track execution methods.

Oceaneering adds value by taking a flexible approach to MOPS contracting strategies. Relying on our financial strength, we own and operate MOPS units for our Customers on a time-charter basis. By leasing MOPS units, our Customers conserve cash flow while we provide the capital for construction and conversion. Oceaneering readily accepts project risks and performance-based incentives and recommends contracting alternatives that enhance project efficiency.

Because no single solution is right for every field development project, Oceaneering bases MOPS units on a variety of vessel types, including tankers, barges, semisubmersibles and jackups. That's also why we offer engineering and project management expertise for the design, procurement and installation of subsea production facilities. Oceaneering is not locked into recycling one answer and one way of doing things. We have the experience, technical expertise and energy to be creative problem solvers developing the best solutions for each of our Customers' projects.

Oceaneering is a contractor for the full cycle of your field's development and production life, from evaluation and appraisal through various development and production stages to abandonment. We can help determine your technology needs, manage construction / conversion, installation of MOPS and subsea facilities, operate the production system, and carry out demobilization and field abandonment. And we can do all of this within a contract structure that affords our Customer great flexibility to manage risks, respond to changing conditions, and maximize the project's life-cycle value.
