A convoy crosses the temporary low level bridge, which was constructed between the 2 damaged spans, at the Freedom bridge site. This bridge was used until one of the RR spans had been reconstructed and opened for traffic. Also of note is a temporary foot bridge which can be seen on the left side of the photo beyond the overhead bridge. These foot bridges were not too successful as flood waters continually washed them away. ....... Submitted by; PFC Dave Miles , JSF Panmunjom, 1952
